With all the sloppy mechnical work that I'm finding with my newly acquired goose I want to make sure that I have the correct spark plugs. Can anyone tell me what the correct plug for this 302 are?

Those be Motorcraft BF-32's. BF-42's will also work but are on the hot side.
Bf-22's are what you want for it if you are going racing but they load up at idle.
About 50 feet of WOT will clear them right up and they run much cleaner at the redline.
The 42's should not be used if you want to reve over about 5500rpm.
The 32's are the best all around plugs for the application.
