I got a little package from the UK earlier today.
It was listed on eBay UK as a speed sensor to fit the Ford Ka, Escort, Fiesta and Mondeo. I paid about $56 to get it to my door. This was the only one the seller had.
However, another seller has what looks to be the same unit, at a total cost of about $85 including S/H. You would want to confirm the part number before buying.

This is the sensor Roland mentioned in an earlier post several weeks ago.
It is a very nice, compact unit just under 3 inches in overall length, and about one inch thick and 1 1/4 inches wide.
The Ford part number is - 94BB 9E731 DA
Item description - sensor-tripmind
It is a perfect fit to my ZF adapter and the speedometer cable. It has three wires terminating in a three-prong plug.
I hope to use it when I add a cruise control.
Anyone think they know what the three wires might be and how to hook them up? Power in? Signal out? Any method to test for function, without burning something up?
