Speedometer output on ZF transaxle is bladed | The De Tomaso Forums

The VDO speedometer adapter on my ZF transaxle is bladed. But my new and shiny speedometer cable has square ends on the inner cable. It looks like I am missing a piece, perhaps a bladed to square adapter. Or I may have the wrong cable. The new cable connects properly on the speedometer side. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks

There are two styles one for VDO blade adapter, the other for the Borletti square adapter, unfortunately you have the wrong cable.

Thanks for your help Julian. I was able to get a cable that fits my VDO adapter.
