Can anyone explane to me how to remove the Speedometer and Tachometer? I can get my hand behind them but there is not enough room to work to remove them.Any info would help.Thanks for your'e time.

The speedo & tach are held in by sort of framework devices that each attach to the instruments by two thumbscrews and bear against the backside of the dash. Remove the thumbscrews and the instruments come out the front of their respecive dash pod holes. Once loose, you can pop out the various lights etc easier. It's almost impossible to remove the framework thingys, so just leave them hang. Be very careful of the light marked 'GEN'; if this bulb is not plugged in when replacing the tach, your alternator may not charge. This bulb completes the field circuit in the alt. Incidently, this may be the time to upgrade the instrument lights from the dim 2-watt bulbs to 5 watt. Lots easier to do when the speedo/tach are out.
