I just replaced my stock ford starter with a high torque unit.

I have the old one on the garage shelf, and can measure it, but I don't know what you mean by 3/8 or 3/4 offset???

And if you need a starter, let us know. I bought the eBay $65 bargain that lots of folks have bought - and I agree, it is a great buy for the money.

Hi Larry,

Would you (or anybody) please send me a link to the Ebay hi torque starter. I already have one I bought from one of the vendors about 7000 miles ago, but it sometimes disengages while cranking and annoys the hell out of me. I have a brand new ring gear so it's not that.
