NAPA, O'Reily's, Autozone - Just ask for a Ford starter relay. I will look just like the picture and cost about the same minus shipping.

The "original" in mine has a push button on top similar to those in the links I sent.

My main concern with the ones I posted is that they're designed for much smaller engines and I'm not sure they'd handle the amps a 302 requires.

The original would be similar to those posted in the original post and most probably a Lucas part. I had notes on a Lamborghini common part but can't find them at this time.

Yep, the one in the pic is exactly like mine. I went ahead and ordered the one in the first link I provided, should be here in a week or so... will let you know how/if it works.

That is a Lucas 2ST on Denis' car, '1076 had a 4ST when we got it. but I think earlier Goose may have come with the one in the first picture...Lee

...to correct my post, I looked at the 4ST I removed from '1076, what looks like a date code is 4371 (so was a replacement). As well, a cable attached to the Ford-style solenoid that came from an earlier car is wrong for a Goose, so I'd believe that the Lucas 2ST was forever the right part...And looks cool (!) Lee
