hey guys! anybody have an issue with the throttle sticking open a bit, while the clutch pedal is depressed? I recently changed the throttle cable, and noticed it being sticky immediately after. tonight I was monkeying around with another carb, and noticed when I released the clutch, the linkage snapped shut. any ideas?

I can only picture one location where these two separate systems are in somewhat close proximity.

I'd be pulling the driver's seat and sliding in to take a close inspection of the footwell pedal assembly.

Perhaps a broken return spring is grabbing something it shouldn't?

That's about all I got. Confused
thanks guys! yes I did wade. I had the side cover off the tunnel by the pedals. when I put it back together I had the clutch cable underneath the cover, when I re routed to cable over the top of it cover( closest the pedal assembly) it seemed to remedy itself. I can only assume it was binding there somehow. lol !
I had an oddly hanging throttle w/ progressively stiffer pull/ return spring/ carb removal looking for the bind ,only to find the bracket on the tunnel was bent making the cable saw through the steel end guide ,filling the cable full of steel shavings.Bent the bracket so the cable went staight in.... doh!
