Sticky tires and old axles

Here's a sad story of what happens when you take an old car and new tires. I'm getting new axles and bearings now. Last month I snapped a sway bar and now this. What's the next thing to go?

Bummer, BUT you got off without any apparent body damage?

Usually this happens at speed and your 1/4 panel trailing edge is torn up with the loose tire.

I'd consider yourself lucky, as far as broken axle stories go.
