dry sleeving the cylinders is OK, do it and move ahead. The dry sleeved cylinders will be stronger than those that aren't sleeved.

Wet sleeves, those that are brazed in, are problematic, I advise against them. But dry sleeves are fine. In the good ol' days, Cleveland racers would dry sleeve all 8 cylinders to eliminate the possibility of a cylinder wall cracking.

John K, in Australia, they had 302C's as well as 351C's. The difference was 3" stroke crankshaft & a 6" long con rod. The blocks were identicle.

He sounded like he knew something George, he said the truck blocks had more nickel in them too. Ok, I just got back from looking at a 74 LTD with a 2bbl 351W. What size will the mains be? George straighten be out if I need it? Crank journal diameter..2/34 vs 3 inch
gandalfthegray .... no its white and black ... we did go for a test ride yesterday after preperation for Pocono ... and Mel has a RED one .... not me. where you from ?? there is a bunch of us up this way and would be nice to have an addition.

Ok back on subject ... my stroker kit will be a 383 in a cleveland block.
