Sunday Drive - Calgary to Banff | The De Tomaso Forums

I was fortunate to be able to join a group of exotics for a Sunday run from Calgary to Banff. Included in the group were a Ford GT, two Lamborghini Diablos, a Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder, an Acura NSX, two Lotuses, and an FXX spec Enzo. Our destination was the Banff Springs hotel, where we had lunch on their terrace and enjoyed the breathtaking mountain view.

If I could find a way to do this every weekend, I would die a happy man...

It was a dream come true to be able to drive in a pack with such a diverse collection of exotic cars, but traffic only allowed for occasional opportunities to stretch the cars' legs.

Under the circumstances, the GT5 had no trouble keeping pace and fit right in. Had traffic not been as thick, however, we would have all seen the 800hp+ Enzo disappear rapidly!

No speed limits were exceeded in the making of these photos. All depictions of speeds in excess of 200 km/hr were taken on a closed course with a professional driver.
