No experiance with them on a car. I had them on a boat and they worked good. The sound should be tuneable by adding more disk to make it louder have more top end power.

If you want quite take disk out but you will probably suffer noticable engine power loss with a small number of disk installed.

One draw back is I think they may make a mess on the back of a P-car with the exhaust carbon
I'v seen 1 Pantera race car with them, no disks installed,,,loud ... Thats what I was thinking. Now,,, the exhaust I'm running is like Glasspac's (PI stainless muff's, Flow-through design ),, You can see right through it. Any back-pressure there ?

Wait,, here's some info from Super-trapp

Removing discs decreases the exhaust opening and increases backpressure. This effectively decreases the powerband to create more low-end torque. It also decreases exhaust tone and enriches carburetion.

Adding discs increases the exhaust outlet and decreases back pressure. This widens the powerband at the top end. It also increases exhaust tone and leans out carburetion.

?????????????????????????????????????????
