I was actually quoted $800-1000 by a small speedshop in Arizona. They had no alignment equipment to speak of. They claimed they would put bags of concrete in the seats to simulate weight of passengers, then lean on the fenders to simulate cornering. They were using a metal long bar for tow-in, and lines on the floor for front to rear alignment...
all of this was supposed to be the "only true
way" to get a race bred alignment. Not sure if they were even looking at caster. I ran fast. (this place is well known in Phoenix)

I quickly went to a corvette specialist for
$89, and am fully satisfied.
