Hello,
My tach has not worked for some time now. I removed it yesterday and checked the wires with a voltmeter. It's seems like I have power, but what I believe is the signal wire (light blue/black) gives no reading. I was looking at the wire guides at it looks like from the schematic it changes from light blue/black to pink when it goes into the coil? Any ideas on if I can hook it up to a spare length of wire directly from the coil to see if it is indeed the sending wire, or the tach that is the issue?
