Dave......before i enlarged the thumbnail i thought that was FATHER GUIDO SARDUCCI behind the wheel, but after i enlarged the picture i seen it was MatLock wearing FATHER GUIDO SARDUCCI'S Hat....HA HA HA HA.......
The new Cobra looks like an awsome car but I kind of wish they would not have called it a Cobra. To me they have changed it too much. Don't get me wrong, would love to see it on the road, it's probably an awsome car, just not as a Cobra. It looks like it was styled after a BMW on steroids. It does to the cobra what a Chrysler Prowler does to a 34' Ford. I have not been much of a Mustang fan (except for 69' and 70' fast backs) but I think the Mustang concept car does a lot better job with the image.
Seems like all the new cars are getting the jelly bean look. Saw them building the car on the tv show "Rides" last night (1/6/04) at 9:00. Was a good show, and the car did look good for the jelly bean style, and realy sounded great. I personally like sharper edge style cars, as some cars out there are starting to get so jelly bean, they look like VW bugs.
I just got back from the Detroit auto show. I must say the cobra next to the GT40 looked like crap. I would never buy this car. So many others that have killer looks and preformance that matches. I will stay with the pantera.
yeah, why not just leave the Cobra alone... I mean considering the legeslated requirements for a new car these days (safety and emmission etc.) and the consumer BS (that Cobra probably has a DVD option) there is no way that the new one should have even been attempted (IMHO) I mean, if you want a Cobra, buy one or build it. If you want a new car, that's cool too, but there is now way you can have your cake and eat it too. Might be a nice car (for a new one) but it sure ain't no cobra.
