HI ALL. I am getting ready to perform my fall maintenance [fluid change's etc] and i would like to know what everyone is running as far as a THERMOSTAT. [ESPECIALLY YOU GUY'S FROM THE WARMER CLIMATE'S SOUTH WEST / CALIFORNIA]
I know that they are available in 160 / 180 / 192 deg. hi-flo etc. which would be best as far as helping to keep the car running cool in the warmer month's [L.I.N.Y. HERE] Running a FLUIDYNE aluminum radiator / aluminum water pump / MARIAH fan's [1 on with key 2 nd. hooked up to the spare rocker switch so it can be turned on / off if / when needed. I also plan on installing the restrictor if still available from MARLIN JACK.
THANK'S. JOHN.

Marlin's piece is a repro of the stock one. Your Cleveland should have it already installed.

But if not, the Cleveland thermostat 'hat' will not fully close the inlet to the block warm-up passage and you will never send all your coolant up to the radiator.

I do imagine Marlin's is a better made piece than the stock Ford unit - he does good work.

Garth,

Knowing that I can never know too much, I clicked your link to see what you had.

I am continually impressed with your website. It just keeps getting better and better.

Concise, detailed, lots of photos.

And I LOVE your video link page. Some Wintery day I'm just going to sit down and see if I can spend all day viewing them all. Wink

You may the 'new guy' on the Pantera website list, but your site is truly now at the top.

Larry

P.S. - Can you loan me $20??? Big Grin
