Some of these things sounded outrageous which prompted me to check on them. The following are false:

Susan Lucci is not the daughter of Phyllis Diller

The red spot on 7up is not due to the inventor being an albino, he wasn't

The Declaration of independence paper is Dutch Linen not hemp

Orcas kill sharks by ramming them or biting them (sharks have weak bone structures) not by ramming them and blowing them up!

Donald Duck was never banned in Findland for no pants

Wendy was a name far before Peter Pan

Scissors were invented in early Egypt, far before DaVinci's time

Passing gas in a space suit does not damage it
The story about Motorola is wrong too. William Lear, the inventor of the Lear Jet, invented the first automotive radio and called it a motorola. Paul Galvin founded the Galvin Manufacturing Company, a company which manufactured wireless radio related products (radio was a relatively new industry). He purchased the rights to the automotive radio and the name motorola from William Lear about 1930. Paul Galvin renamed his company Motorola after the popular radio the company had began manufacturing.

I'll bet if you researched every item, you'd find they are all misinformation.

Actually it is partially correct, Founder Paul Galvin came up with this name when his company (at the time, Galvin Manufacturing Company) started manufacturing radios for cars. Many audio equipment makers of the era used the "ola" ending for their products, most famously the "Victrola" phonograph made by the Victor Talking Machine Company. The name was meant to convey the idea of "sound" and "motion". The name became so recognized that the company later adopted it as the company name.
