I have a project to finish and need trans parts.

I believe the Pantera uses a 5-DS transmission, correct?

Well, there was a 4-DS version that ZF made. I believe it is so similar to the 5 speed that only the back half of the trans was different. The research I have found, and from calls to ZF, leads to Lloyd, and the rest are dead ends. I am willing to fly myself and the transmission almost anywhere to piece it together, or to compare parts. Since this is the only transmission 4 speed I have access to, I can not let it leave my vision. I have most parts, but it has been mangled so I would like to view the inside of a 5 speed as I believe I would be able to acquire a working transmission by interchanging mating gears. I only say this because there are 5DS part numbers currently in the gearbox. I was told the 4 speed was most likely a small delivery truck in lower Europe that went out of production even before the car was built. The builder admitted wanting to upgrade to the 5 speed but never got around to it. I would like to post this here to see what response we get and or help. Thanks for your time.

Yes thank you, I believe I have seen that before. I just need to acquire parts. I would be extremely grateful for any help at all. This project must get done. We have a full machine facility and a last resort would be to actually make our own replacement gears and shims to fit the 5-DS service parts. However pricey, all options are on the table.
