My car has deviated from stock a little bit, and I am happy with what I've got.

I don't have these on my car and never saw them before. Where do they go? Got pictures?

Excellent find on the substitutes. It seems hired restorers generally don't bother to replace them as many Panteras I observe no longer have them in place. Hopefully, they'll find their way into SOBill's database.

Doug, the go under the DZUS receptacles that hold the fibergalss trunk insert in place to keep the water spraying off the wheels from entering the luggage compartment.

Chuck. .. those are lids.. or caps from 3M PPS cups. And they really do fit perfectly. That was a great find.
I have hundreds of those little things at my shop and all I could come up with was. .."mini shot glasses".

Do they come off of "rattle cans"? Show me a picture of the can they come off of please?

Huh? Learn something new everyday? Never saw those before. NO ONE has these things listed new. I guess I have to buy a case of spray paints to get them?

As far as I can remember, my car never had them.

If we let people insert the plastic caps from PPG Paint Cups, then what's next?

- Radiator Modifications?

- "Amazing" Underdrive Water Pump Pulleys?

- Aftermarket rims and tires?

- Weber Carburetor Installs? (Ok, some of those came stock)

- LS3/LS9 Installs?

Counting one's time as being valuable & at $0.57 apiece ( needing ten), the time spent driving to a paint shop to acquire the plugs, would be better utilized just ordering.\

Bear in mind, Panteras by Wilkinson's website has not been updated since it was launched. At this point, don't expect Steve to do an update. Everyone calls him anyways so there is little reason to update.

I did find a reference to these caps in the Technical Service Bulletin, Bulletin #7, August 3, 1973.

Not that I was specifically looking, I just stumbled on it. It looks like it cut in with the "L" cars.

Early cars did't use Dzus fastners, just plain old bolts.
