Tire size?

Need some help, just got a 73L in need of tires, with 7's and 8's. Want to fill the wheel wells with out rubbing. 15" tires are becoming hard to come by. OR maybe 16",17" wheels. If I go with the larger wheels, what offset would I need? Should I take out the spacers out first? thax

Pantera East has some nice aluminum alloy Campy replica wheels. The sizes for non flared cars are 16X8 and 17X11. They are made with the correct backspace for our cars.
