I noticed many more members are going for the original look, including tires and wheels. Even though the original Michelin XWXs which were standard issue here in Europe are still available, Michelin (for what ever reason unknown to me) no longer recommends these tire sizes for the original rims (see official Michelin Classic website). I have found good alternatives at Avon with the CR6 ZZ 215/60/15 for the front and the 245/60/15 for the back. Both are V-rated and do justice to our cars. Similarly, Continental builds the Conti 2 which in 205/60/15 and 225/60/15 is W-rated, which is even better. I have bought the latter for my Pantera #3771 and with wheel spacers in the back, looks very nice and original. I`m considering the Avons for my Pantera #2417 which is a rebuild from scratch. All tires mentioned are within 2% of the original diameters 641mm front and 683mm back.
Hope this helps someone.

The link I have is to the european website which is of no help to you. The official name is: Conti Premium Contact 2. Try Continental`s American website. For tire comparisons go to tiresize.com.
Goodroc (lucky guy) is in another league with his 10" in the back and probably 8" in the front. I don`t know what tire size your car originally came with. I find it a shame when people fit their Panteras with inadequate tires such as M+S or with an improper (illegal?) speed rating. Has anyone seen Michael Jordan play with flip-flops?
