Hello, I am new Panteras. I recently aquired a 1973 Pantera. The shift linkage is broken at the end and the piece that broke off is missing.
It appears to be the last link that connects the linkage to the transmission shaft. I was courious if there were any aftermarket or universal parts that would work or if anyone knew of some sources to locate the part.
Thanks

NGC, that piece was never available as a spare, but most of the larger Pantera parts vendors have parted-out Panteras in their shops. By calling them and describing EXACTLY what you have, an OEM part will certainly be available. Unfortunately for you, nearly all the vendors are on or near the West Coast but the part you need is not hevy nor bulky so is easily shipped.

The main vendors are:
PI Motorsports, So-Cal
Panteras by Wilkinson, So-Cal
Larry Stock's Pantera Parts Connection, N Nevada
Dennis Quella's Pantera Parts, W Colorado
Mike Mayberry on these forums also has some stuff- So-Cal
A quick Google will give the e-mails and/or phone #s of all. Shop around.
There are quite a few Pantera vendors or parts suppliers on the east coast or mid west.

Ron McCall has a huge cache of parts in MD
Marino Perna at Pantera East FL
Kirk Evans at Amerisport (on you doorstep as he's in Perrysburg OH)
Collectors Choice WI

If you need the universal joint, aftermarket ones with the 36 spline count are available from Flaming River, albeit they have a set screw rather than bolt.

Good luck,
Julian
