I have a groove in my right rear rotor. I replaced the pads but hear a minor whine. The wheel on the other side spins freely while my RR scrubs ever so slightly. My question is... can the rotor be turned on the car, like I have seen them do other imports? Or what do I have to do to get it off and take it to a regular brake lathe?

Well I was just thinking that the whole idea behind 17s and larger is itlets you put monster brakes on the car. So now may be a good time to just bite the bullet and put you some humongo baeyers or willwoods on there. Maybe some of them new ceramic Porsche brakes with the red caps on them. All cross drilled and pretty like.
Yeah Dethom, I have seen them at PI 4G for all four corners. I'm going to try to keep mine stock. ( that is a nice word for cheap) I found a competent shop in Greenwwod that can turn the rotors on "MOST" cars. The man said he would be glad to look and see if it can be done. I have an appiontment tomarrow at 3:30. I repost the results when I get back. Thanks for your input.

YES! It can be done on the car. Had mine done when I replaced the stock pads and brake lines. Good Luck.
I just got back from Greenwood. Profesinal Automotive let me in their shop and we lifted the car and turned the rotor on the right rear. It was a little warped and had a groove from a pad rivet that wore through. About 4 passes and it is very nice job. The car has less rear noise and $75 later I am happy.
