My good friend with a TVR will be lighted to know of this Naked Lady marketing campaign if that didn’t get him to love those cars in the first place

I am pretty confident this is my Vixen on the Blackpool Beach...

Cold day for sure as seen by zooming in.. A little later this one of our American "dream" ...House on the beach in Carlsbad CA. (Really, my back is  "on" the Beach) , cool job at Chrysler advanced design, nice girlfriend, and of course a TVR.....(1982 or so). A real little old lady from Pasadena owned the beach house and she liked us so we got it. Before that, we lived in a little shack in Laguna Beach.  Both places gone and replaced by monster ugly houses....In fact, one year I took my daughter around So. Cal. to show her where I use to live and every single place was gone. At first I thought I messed up the addresses but no, all gone...Second photo on the abandoned Ridge Route in So. Cal. Nobody had used this road since the abandon in the '20's and we camped on the old cement. Now its really closed and you will be shot..or deported . Now ever dick tries to go up there and film something but it was first done in a TVR!

You mention being on a Chrysler design team. Based on the age of the photos you may be near my age and therefore know Tom Gale who was my college classmate and friend. We both loved cars, but he stayed with it, and I moved on to a different area of design. Quite by chance I spoke to Tom about two years ago. Both of us are retired but I still draw cars for fun for the Festival of Speed and Style in Alexandria Virginia, www.festifalofspeedandstyle.com.

I did not know him really. He never came out to CA. when I was there but met him later on when in Detroit and through my old job at Peugeot/Citroen. He was friends with my old boss who was once head of Plymouth Design and later with me in France. So we met over the years. But a long tme ago. I did a promotional video “with” him and probably last tme I might have met up with him.

In fact,  I know that one or our Arizona brothers (stewiegoose) had at least of the early Griffiths…. He has a funny story about his car and the ABC Movie of the Week!
