Larry, I'm sure you covered this before but what is the history/benefit of the 2 color lens?
Best as I can tell, they were original to a Renault. Being the thrifty guy he was, De Tomaso sourced many parts from those already available. For the GT5 and GT5S, he wanted to upgrade to the two color lenses, and he found the Renault units. They were also used on some British TVR cars, Reliants and then they were picked up by a Romanian manufacturer who switched them from a metal housing to a duplicate in plastic.
These are the ones I found a source for, but that source has dried up and the ones in my garage will be my last from that source. I did stock up for the future, but when they're gone, they're gone.
Benefits? I, and so far about three dozen other owners, think they look better than the stock Ford yellow, twin filament bulb units.
Swap requires no cutting of stock wiring, slight increase of the pod opening and a few hours time. I supply everything but the time and tools. Stock lights could be replaced by fabricating an adapter piece like the one I make, but fitted to the stock housings.
