As the previous post read, I am looking for a set of these wheels (same set on the black GT5 S advertised on PI site- made by Hall Pantera).

They need to be 17x9.5 and 17x13 in order to fit a flared body. These wheels have been discontinued, so i am trying if possible to source a second hand set.

Do people take wheels off wide-bodied cars?

Mr. Bulldog, I replied previously that I have the same wheels you are describing. I asked you to email me for details. I am going to sell these wheels and in fact There are others who have expressed an interest. I will be taking more photos of just the wheels this weekend and will probably post them here. These are Hall Ultra 17" wheels with ten inch wide fronts and 13" wide rears.

De Tom, Have you given me your correct email address as twice i have emailed you, with no reply back?

Well shucks Mr. Bulldog. I never thought of that. Sometimes my email puts stuff in the spam box if it is from someone who it doesn't know. I apologise.
My home email is Detomaso72@yahoo.com and my work email is tom.edds@awhc.com. If you send it to both places, surely I will get it this time.
Once again, sorry for assuming you were ignoring me. I tend to be self absorbed.

Hi DT,
I pasted the email address you gave first time round, which i did not notice was wrongly spelt. That as well as the fact that this time the 'd'in your email address is a capital and not lower case like last time quoted, could be the reason both emails never reached you. I have tried all three variations so one should reach you. Does that sound like someone keen to buy your wheels.
Thanks again, Bulldog.
Mem, be sure and check the offsets. Even though these wheels seem wide enough, their offsets appear to be set up for a car with the mini GTS flares. You may need to use thick spacers and install longer wheels studs (yes, you have to remove the axles..) in order to properly fill in the GP4 flares you're thinking of putting on.

FYI...Bob

My Bad Mr. Bulldog. Sometimes I wish I had stayed in school beyond the third grade, but can't change that now. Big Grin
I am always misspelling words and putting them in the wrong order. Part of it is my fingers are way bigger than the keys on the keyboard. I recieved both emails this time and will be replying to it soon. Probably tonight. Last night I got film for the camera, and this weekend I will take a bunch of pictures.
Thanks for being so patient with an old hillbilly. Smiler

Actualy Mr. Bob, I am selling them because they don't fit my car all that well. Even jacking the car up several inches, the tires occasionaly rubbed on the outside flairs. In fact even though I am throwing the tires in for free, I would recommend getting new ones. These tires are scuffed up pretty badly.
So my car was pretty when I had them on, but because I had it jacked up so high in the air, it didn't handle very weel. Didn't you notice from the pictures how it looked like a four wheel drive pick up?? Now that I have the spacers and wheels back out, the car sits way lower. I am planning on taking pictures of the car with the new old setup and amaze you guys. You will say to yourselfs "how on earth did he get that car to sit so low???" If you guys are real nice, I might tell you my secret. Smiler
