Rocky...
were you able to get installed and make a drive?
Yes, I didn't want to derail Doug's reminiscing about Dominators, 302s, Nam and cowbell with technical discussion of my carb fix....
It runs great.
It's hard to keep my foot out of it.
No backfire in the higher gears.
Had a couple minor install d'oohs!
Has a leak at the float adjustment (secondarys), because nut hadn't been fully tightened, and a leak at the fuel line input... Fixed those all up.
The car and I are ready for a 500 mile drive next weekend!

We were just sittin' around shooting the breeze while we were waiting for the final results?
In the meantime I got a set of programmable electric cowbells. I know that electric drums are made. My son has those.
I wonder if there are electric harmonicas so I can play lonely cowboy songs automatically?
You can go to Nam too, but you need to pay for it. Not a free perk from your Uncle Sam like in the old days? They have regular tours. I think former Viet Cong are the tour guides. They are very friendly now.
Probably looking for American sponsers so they can legally come to the US? I think I see them here sometimes at "swap meets" selling tube socks?

They can show you where and explain how they beat the Americans. Pretty neat but not exactly how I remember things.
Did you know that Shelby-American had an office in Saigon where you could order a new Cobra to be waiting for you to pick up stateside, back in the 'world'?

I do know the military guys can buy just about whatever car they want through the AAFES catalog.
Not sure you would want your Cobra delivered to you in Saigon...

Correct, no bridges to Hawaii from there.
Hum? Was the Mangusta and Pantera in that catalog?
Glad your Pantera issue was fixed.
