Hi to everyone on the bulletin board.

Adam and I would like to announce a membership offer that has never been offered before. Any new member joining PI, and any returning member who has been away for over 5 years, shall receive 8 free back issues of Pantera International magazine. These are 8 of the most requested back issues over the last 5 years, hand selected by Adam and I just for you. This is a $120 value (member price).

If you've been thinking about joining, now is the time to do it. If you aren't a member of the club, and don't receive PI magazine, you're missing out on a lot of Pantera info. You don't have to own a Pantera to be a member, everyone is welcome. Dad was a member for years before he bought his Pantera.

I don't know of any club, or magazine, that has ever made such a generous offer. Adam and I wanted to do something generous as a way of introducing ourselves.

When you contact us, either by FAX or by telephone, please mention the 8 free back issue offer.

Dad (the Pres) provided the picture below.

Justin

Terry,

I apologize that you fell through the cracks somehow. We would be glad to re-instate your membership as if it never lapsed, and provide the issues you have missed. You can contact us via FAX or telephone with a credit card number, or mail a check to the new address and we'll take care of it right away. Just let us know which issue number was the last you recieved.

I'll sweeten the deal and offer you your choice of one of the following:

1) one back issue of your choice, please state the issue number

2) a PI tee shirt, please state the size

3) A Squeeky Clean poster, actress Nicolette Sheridan of Desperate Housewives posing topless in 1985 washing a Pantera.

This is our way of saying sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,

Justin

John,

Yes we have the posters, Dad said to sell them at $10 plus shipping for members, $12 plus shipping for non-members. Give Adam a telephone call and he'll set you up. Or send us a FAX with your credit card info (card type, card number, expiration date, name on card, billing address), we have your shipping address.

We won't get around to updating the club store on the web site for a while, we're busy with other things at the moment, but we do have the posters.

Regards,

Justin

I want one! I really want one.

And just where will you put such a poster where it will not create something like....

Daddy, why is that lady washing the car not wearing any clothes?

Big Grin

When you figure that out, let me know so I can put mine up; I've probably had mine for 20 years. And I could also put up the one I just got from eBay UK, that actually shows a bare breast and nipple - oh, and a Pantera, too.

Hi Justin,

This idea of offering freebies to entice newbies or to get former members to return is pretty common among business promotions.

Question for you. The loyal members, the ones that have sent the $60, and now $75, year after year have a full collection of magazines. And five years ago, when I joined, I even got a P.I. sticker that is displayed on my F150 - getting a bit worse for the years, I might add.

But beyond that, for all our years of loyalty, and money, I don't see any offers of free magazines, or tee shirts, or posters.

Shouldn't the extras be going to the loyal folks, not the ones that faded away or just never anted up? Confused

My 2¢

No.

Membership promotions are for non-members.

Members have benefits too, like discounts on parts at PI Motorsports and merchandise at the Pantera International club store. Dad & Jim Cozzolino are also working on improving the benefits for members.

We've got new stickers for your F-150 covered. Big Grin

John,

There is a membership form on the Pantera International web site. You can fill out the form and FAX it to us with credit card info (805-378-7100), you can mail the form with a check (330 Central Ave #25, Fillmore, CA 93015), or you can call Adam at (805) 524-5248 and give him your info and a credit card number. The web site has the address of our offices, phone & fax numbers, etc.

Thank you for inquiring,

Justin

Excuse me, George. But I got my membership package today and one of my eight magazines was duplicated in the package. Now I am not one to normaly complain, and no I do not think an equitable solution is yet another magazine, as that would be unfair to others. So I purpose that you send me a membership car that I can carry in my wallet in it's stead, and I will plant the duplicate magazine in a doctors office, in hopes of luring the unsuspecting into Pantera addiction. That way we may get yet another potential victim, er I mean, memebr of the brotherhood of the hopeless adicted DeTomaso enthusiats.
What do you think?? SOund like a good deal??
My membership card could carry the title of, oh say, grand poo-bah????
Hi George I faxed my membership in this morning. Forgot to say 8 free issues of mag. Want to order poster of Nicolette Sheridan washing a car of some kind? Pantera wasn't it. Charge to my credit card and send to me pronto. Thanks George Scott !!!! Got to have that poster!!!!!
Carbo,

There is a membership form on the Pantera International web site (there's a link at the top of every page of this bulletin board). You can fill out the form and FAX it to us with credit card info (805-378-7100), you can mail the form with a check (330 Central Ave #25, Fillmore, CA 93015), or you can call Adam at (805) 524-5248 and give him your info and a credit card number. The web site has the address of our offices, phone & fax numbers, etc.

we're glad to have you back with us. you'll like the 8 back issues Adam & I picked out, lots of good stories, including the Pantera 30th anniversary issue from 2001. Each 30th anniversary issue is individually numbered as a collector's item. Dad and Dave Adler say the current issue, #127, is the best ever. It has some great photography by MIAD.

welcome back, Justin
Justin -

I recently joined & received the parts catalog. I've given my eyes a serious workout out trying to figure out how all those parts fit into 1 car. I also received the Magazine w/Lestat on the cover. Wow! Great car & magazine. The magazine even smells like a car.

I have just started the process of understanding the Pantera w/the intent of purchasing one in the near future (hopefully). Can you suggest some of your past issues that may help me get started? Also, I would like to attend the Vegas Convention in April. It is highly unlikely that I will have a car to bring, but I would like to attend some of the events. Where do I start?

Thanks.

Dan,

The show season encompasses spring through fall. There are several Italian Car shows each year where Panteras gather, and the number has grown. Your area has a POCA chapter, the South East Panteras, the president is Gary Ford who is a regular on these forums as well (fordgt). Their web site is:

http://www.sepanteras.com/

North in Pennsylvania is the Pocono CSD show in May, as Mark mentioned. The Las Vegas show coming in April is POCA's big one, dad will be there and be glad to talk Panteras with you (he never stops Roll Eyes). If you can make it to the West Coast in August, there is the Concorso Italiano in Monterey. Lots of Pantera gatherings for you to attend. Lots of Pantera owners for you to meet. The local POCA chapter is a good place to meet other owners.

The next magazine will be on its way before too long. The best book to begin with is the Brookland Books "Ultimate Portfolio". Dad told me to mail you the 8 back issue package at no charge, so its on its way this week. If you want the Brookland book, please let me know this week, I'll mail it with the back issues.

Mike Dailey's web site, the Pantera Place, is an excellent resource for you, with lots of information to help you:

http://www.panteraplace.com/

Dad says the first step is to decide what type of Pantera interests you, a show room stock show car, a modified show car, a race car, or a driver car that has a few select upgrades to make the car suitable for driving and personalized for you. Then decide which colors you like. Pick a budget based on how much work you want to perform, or if you want a Pantera that needs no work at all. Dad said to mention there are some awesome Panteras for sale right now, just check our web site to see them. When you find a car, find somebody on this forum, or a member of the south east Panteras, to help you inspect the car.
