We Europeans often voice opinions about your strange way of life, and you do the same about us for sure. But deep down most Europeans and other freedom loving people around the globe are thankful for what you and your troops do to preserve freedom all over the globe. If the US didn't exist, neither did freedom and democracy.

Did you know that the biggest Fourth of July celebration outside the US takes place in Rebild Bakker here in Denmark, every year? This year our Prime Minister gave a speech.

A day late, but I hope our friends to the south had a great July 4th and had an opportunity to both celebrate and reflect on the things that you hold dear.
