valve covers

I personally like the look of the Motorsport valve covers if these are what you're talking about, and they fit just fine. I've seen quite a few of the Motorsport and the DeTomaso version of the same installed.

It's more a matter of taste then anything else. The tall Ford Racing or Motorsport covers fit fine.
The change the look a bit. The engine looks a little more like a Boss 9 with them then a C.
I think the Detomaso covers look more correct.
I don't think Ford permitted them when they were in control. After all it is a Ford and not a Detomaso engine.
(Thank God for that).

Taste? I never thought of tasting valve covers. I would have thought they all taste alike. I doubt I could distinguish the difference between a Mickey Thompson & a beer can. Your tongue must be very sensitive to the nuance in the flavor of aluminum. But isn't aluminum tasting hard on the fillings?
