Let's shoot the BS in Alejanro's Bar a little. Here's some strategies, race set-up's and future plans. Feel free to get out your key boards...like post a message on the bulletin board here for me to read.

Ist Year, this year's strategies:
Learn the track, locate markers for braking points, note rpm's in turns, find 85 to 90% of the way to 'the edge' and tune in from there. Don't go over the edge, ever.

Sum up the competition, and the strategy is like this for the big pony Pantera's. They'll take me down the straight, but lose advantage on long straight's as we both red-line. I'll carry as little weight as possible, and use late braking points into the turns, while carrying more speed thru the corners from anybody carrying more weight, or whose cars haven't been set up like mine. Take who I can, let the guys who can pass me. Learn the car.

Race set-up will be to lower the chassis to the lowest level for the drive both ways and still get around the track and over speed bumps. About 2 psi lower in front than rear tires. Pump back up after the event to avoid dents in the rims from my favorite road hazard: highway construction, especially repaving where they have the grooved road and little rocks. Dual purpose, dual settings. Altitude is lower and just perfect for the next lower jets, take those specific tools to save space and slam that 5 minutue project out in the clean garage. Pack light, but take the shock spanner wrench, just in case I get energetic.

@nd Year (next year): Examine various Pantera's at Year 1 track event, maybe see a closed highway event, learn about those Pantera's too and plan from there. Prioritise. H.P.? ZF gearing? Maintenance lookout, always. What else?
