Vin Tags-locations etc etc

Here are pics of the VIN/body tags on my late 72 pre-L (#4033)...

Front trunk. Note that the stock VIN tag does not actually have the VIN stamped into it, but rather the VIN is stamped into the car atop the pedal box in the front trunk. The trunk felt is cut around the VIN, and the tag is cut out in this area allowing you to view the VIN stamped into the car.

I've wanted to replace my door jamb VIN tag for awhile now (the corner is ripped). I even bought a new one. But how do you get the numbers embossed to look original?

I have a question similar to Hemihunter. I removed all the Tags and Decals of my car #6174 Euro GTS/GR3 when I restored it a couple of years ago. Does anyone know if this particular one is available from any of the Vendors new? I can have a good friend stamp it with both the Stars and the Numbers if I ask him politely ;-)
