I just swapped out my alternator and regulator to a 100 amp 3 wire unit and transistored regulator and all seems to be working correctly. While replacing it, I noticed that the wiring harness at the regulator connector seemed to have been hacked a bit and I wanted to check if all was correct. There is one wire from the connector in particular that leads to a condenser which was "black tape" spliced in. Do I need this condensor with the new regulator? Can anyone tell me what is supposed to go where so I can be sure?
Thanks in advance.
