I have my a/c system working. Saturday was very hot and the clutch on the compressor was cycling off the high 300 psi pressure switch and the air was comming out of the dash.... not so cold. I returned home and ran hose water over the condenser and it started blowing cold again. Who knows how much R134a is enough? I have about 3 cans in my system. To me 300 psi is a lot of pressure. Is this normal?

BTW.........(And I believe im 99.9% right on this one)..... If this was a R12 to 134A conversion dont expect to get the same "cool" as you did with the R12. (if you are comparing apples-to-apples). But never-the-less, it should still be cool. (here is where you say, Bob that didnt answer my question).... Just wanted to pass that on in case..thats all.......
