Thanks very much. Yeah, the car sounds awesome IMO. It is LOUD, sets off car alarms all the time!

The video didn't do the sound justice.

I'm going to try and figure out how to take vids from my phone and post them on youtube.

I have a holder for the phone,an in-car vid would really show how gnarly this car is. My guess is 0-60 in 3 seconds or so. Running it up hard through third gear has me white knuckling the wheel, and the car pulls SO HARD it is just amazing.

Ron Southern said it reminded him of the CanAm cars he used to race!

By the way, Ron is "back in the saddle"! He is a famous race car driver, and was a drivers instructor for Bob Bonduront when he had his school at Sears Point for many many years.

He's found a new ride, and is back racing in a formula car (similar to Formula Atlantic, open wheel bada$$ness)! He's really happy and I'm stoked for him.

I hope he doesn't mind my letting the cat out of the bag.

"The cat" is actually a 1985 Ralt rt-5 Formula Super Vee, and it actually will be "out of the bag" during a pre-vintage season testing/fitting/lapping session at Willow Springs this Friday the 4th.
I'll post up results/impressions/photos/the whole 2016 Vintage racing story this weekend on the Pub so this thread doesn't stray further off-topic.
One more photo is of the car at Fontana sharing a garage with another Ralt, and as much as I really like the JPS colors, I kinda wish it were yellow/black like that car AND #4744.
