WANT A CUSTOM PANTERA PROJECT?

if it doesn't sell as a Pantera, he might have better luck advertising it as a highly modifide Fiat project car.

when I hear the phrase "front clip", I think of cutting off the damage section/frame and welding back a section, so wonder if the front suspension is Pantera or Fiat.

I don't reconize the Fiat model it could be, does any one?

I believe the front was from a X1/9 (Bertone). Probably nothing of a Pantera left from front of the firewall.

Targa-top also?

Yes the front is from a FIAT X1/9 (from the beginning of the 80)and it looks like the doors and the roof is from the same FIAT.
It is NOT a PANTERA, it is a FIAT X1/9 with a backend from a PANTERA.

I did notice the floor pan, but when I reviewed a photo of my stripped interio, the dash, the tunnel and doors are not Pantera

I noticed that too. And the firewall in a Pantera is behind your back, right?

It's semi- sorta Pantera-ish, kinda.

On a positive note, at least it was another Italian car! It could have been worse if they'd used the front clip from a Pacer or something.

It would cost more to haul it away than it's worth .. no bid here

I am all for customization and personalization of Panteras however I typically expect that most owners stick to a design that is at least appealing to most or at least some. It reminds me of that quote. "He was so busy thinking about whether he could that he didnt stop to think about whether he should."

Oh come on, you mean you have not been yearning for the VW bug bubble grafted on your Pantera?

It's a Pan 1/9.

Even the Fiat Guys are making fun of it..... (Or at least trying to figure out... "Why?")
