2V or 4V heads? Aren't the exhaust ports different sizes?
Good call husker, you are correct.
A 2v head has a standard port size of 2.05" x 1.37" the 4v is 2.47" x 1.47"
I will take either size depending.
What kind of budget you looking at?
I have a daily driver car so I can't really put a set of gleaming SS pipes on it.
It would over power my engine compartment and look terrible.
What would be perfect is a dinged up set of black painted pipes.
Ask Ron McCall to make you set and don't coat them
You can paint ceramic coatings any color including black.
Considering the current cost of 180's I would think a good used useable set would cost you a good percentage of a new set anyway?
You aren't likely to find a set coming out of a Pantera Taxi Cab although granted, I've seen more then a few inexplicable things but that cab driver is not very likely to be literate enough to read this or even read for that matter?
...lol... I am sure I will end up building a set. I just figured if someone had a set they accidentally backed over...lol... It could get me started.

I will end up building a set I'm sure.
My friends car is in my shop and after driving his car around w 180's I just don't see how it's possible to drive my car now....

They definitely have a "Je ne sais quoi" characteristic to them.
I don't try to explain them anymore. It's like explaining a light bulb to a Neanderthal.

I have not personally heard of anyone that has them installed and running hates them?
I have heard of others criticizing them because of the space that they do take up.
So it isn't even a love/hate thing. It seems to be a love/love thing.
I had a friend that ran Pro Stock in a Diamond chassis Camaro in '86. If I said that it was virtually impossible to do a "one upsmanship" on him, that would be an under statement, with one exception. The 180 headers. There he would just stare and mumble about the "crazy ass headers" in my car.
I think that it is kind of an infection? Once you are infected, there is no going back?
