Sam I've bought several things from Hall. Tara is very helpful. Sounds like your making progress. I was hoping to stop by in september to see. As for shipping most of what i order gets shipped to detroit. Import charges tends to be costly
Thanks for the responses.I figured to ask since theres been many mixed reviews regarding aftermarket parts on other posts.I would hate to order one go thru customs duties and taxes just to be disappointed with the fit and finish
Hello yes the lower portion can be replaced on both corners but I like the idea of removing the skin blasting the door frame then epoxy and reskin. These cars were never dipped from the factory so every seam is bare steel no wonder they rusted
Sam, glad to hear you are back at the car. Both doors on my Pantera had rust in the corners of the doors. I ordered new skins but ended up replacing the corners instead. The skins took a long time to arrive. One side was a pretty good fit but the other side was a 1/4" bigger than the original. Also the lip is not bent over like a door skin for a us car. Good luck, send us some pictures. Richard
Sam, when I visited Gary Hall's shop decades ago, he showed me a stack of door skins made in aluminum. They may still have a few. Changing skins in a Pantera is soooo labor-intensive, that using GR-4 skins is the only way this makes sense even to a Pantera nutcase like me.
