Anyone know what type car this is? The shifter is cool w that lockout.

The DeTomaso factory actually incorporated a reverse lockout plate on the shift gates installed in the GRP4 cars. They came from the factory painted black, as was the shift lever.
The hinge they used looks very suspiciously like a common cabinet hinge you would find in your local hardware store. π

it doesnβt show very well in the photograph but there is a small quarter inch tab welded in the center of the coverβs hinge that is used to flip open the lock out

Appears they used this setup in multiple cars.
....and on the Agena, the Ayacsa A/C controls below the FM radio (below the 8-track, below the cassette deck) and above that, undistorted vents from the Ayacsa unit, it seems...but to change things up, a square (MGB) knob on the indicator stalk...Lee
