What mirror is this?

These mirrors are readily available from Mustang sources, in either NOS or reproduction formats. Mustangs Unlimited (1-800-243-7278, or www.MustangsUnlimited.com) lists them:

'67-68 standard rectangular, LH or RH (same mirror used on both sides)

Original: F2406, $53.30
Repro: 67696A, $39.95

As info, these mirrors were not factory items..instead they were LM dealer installed. Many owners have toss them by now for modern replacements.

Thanks , I guess if my Mustangs had standard chrome mirrors I would have known that. I thought I had the MU catalog memorized. LOL

I'm in a quandry, have that mirror on the driver's side and nothing on the right, and I really need something over there to deal with that blind spot.

Johnk, My car also came with only one mirror. I bought a Mustang pass side. It even says " Objects in mirror get smaller as they are going much slower" or somthing like that. Thanks for the help. Looks like yours is mounted so the back of the base is about even with the chrome strip seperating the triangular window and the moving side window. In that location, does the chrome molding block the view?

The view is fine, and it is about 2 inches forward of the driver side. I can see better. If some guy walks from one side of the car to the other and says the mirrors are not even...I'll ask what one is wrong?...cause I could care less.

I have those mirrors. They are corvette mirrors.

On the front it should say "Objects in mirror appear to be losing" and its always a corvette that I see in the mirror. . . . . .
