I have a nonstock svo motor. I have a 190 degrees thormostat out-bord. the stock gauge reads 225. so I put a meat thermom?? in the bottom of the radiator(180) now in the top(145) So how good of a reading is this? and if I have a 190 thormo can it loose 10 degress to the radiator? or can the thormo be wrong or are that very close?

Your one mistake here is believing the inherantly inaccurate stock gauge. Numerous studies have established that the reading is usually wrong due to an Italian-made gauge and a US-made sender. In addition, there are two gauges and at least three senders possible; some combinations are more accurate than others, and one is so far off, it does not qualify as a gauge! Check the archives for the background on this problem (bring along a chair; it'll take a while).
