Looking at a local car to buy and it is missing the cover. Without doing a bunch of research thought I would ask you guys what these are worth and there availability?

Depends on early or late (non air cleaner hump vs air cleaner hump) They are around on evil-bay. I paid around $250 for a cover with the air cleaner hump

Well, yea. But it was heavily modified/damaged and fixing them is really not an option.

I thought it was a good deal for some one who was going to cut it .. I just missed it ..needed to hack it for my webers anyway.

The person who bought it is going to hack it up. It was only on ebay for a day or two. I pulled it off way early.
