Yes Steve, the Pantera has the same bolt circle dimensions as the Mustang.

I can't comment about the fitment of a Mustang wheel within the wheel well of a wide body Pantera. There are excellent 17" wheels available from the Pantera vendors for that application. I always like to encourage owners to support the vendors, without them, ownership would be much more difficult.

Yeah and you have to be carefull because not all Mustangs are the same too. My 1990 only had four lugs per wheel. I am not sure if the new ones have gone back to five lugs or not.
I have been using 17" x 9" Cobra R replica wheels on my 74 for the last several years. The fronts have 235 45 17's and fit with no problems. The backs have 285 45 17's and they fit but required using a 1" spacer and longer studs which required disassembly of the uprights and a trip to the machine shop to get the old lugs pressed out and new ones pressed in. I have been very pleased with the result.

I have a set of AFS wheels. http://www.AFSwheels.com They have a set of 17X9 and 17X10.5. The 17X9 fit on the front without any mods with 245 rubber. The rears required a wheel spacer from any speed parts store to back the rim from the lower upright, I used a 7/32 spacer. Still enought for proper lug nut bit and I use 335 rubber on the rear.

5 hole 4 1/2 bolt pattern is what you need. They sell these on ebay so you can get a pair cheap.

Downside, these are cast alum rims, so they are heavy compaired to the mag rims.

Not for awhile yet brother. Have some unfinsihed business here I have to deal with. Probably next year if things go right. Roger & Nina were just here in Arizona for a visit, it was great seeing them. I may drive out later this year to spend a couple of weeks and hang out with everyone. Will let you know. I love your trailer ! Way Too Cool !

So not to get off the subject of wheels.... Big Grin

My wheels are from Kodiak. Sometime back I set up a deal for Pantera owners to get their wheels at 25% off retail. There were several of us that bought the Kodiak wheels. Everybody seemed pretty happy with the finished product. I believe the deal is still available. I paid about 1800.00 for mine in 10x17 & 13x17. They have been great wheels and I am very happy I bought them.

Hey brother Coz, when are you moving to South Florida?[/QUOTE]

Thanks Brooke.
They were custom made. The offsets for the front are 4-5/8 and the rears are 4-3/4. No spacers are being used. I'm running 275x40x17 on the fronts & 335x35x17 on the rears.

What leak are you talking about ? I had an intake gasket leak a while back, but that's been fixed. :-)

What are the specs on your wheels? Are they a off the shelf item or did you have them custom(referring to back spaces etc.) made? What size tires are you running? Your car looks killer.

COZ,
Thanks so much for the Reply,
I found the thread(GT5 Wheel Offsets) Where you and Cyboman were discussing the wheel dimensions and at the end you said you were going to buy the Kodiaks and they were 10.5 x 17 and 13 x 17 but no other specs were given.
Thanks again
Brooke
p.s the leaking statment was not directed at your car Smiler
