I'm not the right person to explain this but I'll try. I open my pictures in HP image zone or similar program, pick the picture you want to post. I have to go to edit and change it to 640X480 web page size and save it for posting on PI web site

For spell check just type your message however you normally write on the computer that has spell check. Then with your mouse highlight message and right click the mouse hit copy then go to bulletin board and right click mouse and hit paste your message will be transferred with one click.

Hope this helps I really am not very good with computers or spelling and this works for me.

Now start posting those pictures.
mark, I know you have been painting your car black. I hungrily await your pics. I have a sony Cybershot..it has a pic mode called Email, in this mode i can attach the pic to the post and it comes out the right size.. My recomendation is to try a couple different settings either by pixel count or size.. Email them to yourself, and you will see the actual size thay will appear on the board. I know it they a too big ,they will not post. I would like to see your advancement to compleation!
I am the moderator of this new forum. I am also getting ready to open a new forum for interiors, suspension, etc. People ask what a stock car looks like and also the modified ones give inspiration to other owners who are updating or modifying their cars. The settings of this forum permit the posting of photos that are up to 500KB in size. I use Photoshop to edit my photos. Digital cameras spit out pictures that can be 2 or 3 megabytes in size and 20-40 inches in width. These are too big to post on this website. They need to be sized down to around 9-11 inches in width and compressed down in size to under 500KB. For example, the photo I took of Richard Plotkin's engine room is around 200-300KB in size. If you do not have the software to compress your photos down to this size, then try to use the settings on your camera to take images that are smaller in pixels and then size the photos down. The reason why we can't take larger photos on this site is due to storage space and cost along with the slow bandwidths or "pipes" some people have that can't tolerate large photos very well. If you do not understand what I am saying, please email PI or call us at: 760-731-8301. Your amigos, Paige, Dave and Linda
