Window fully down upgrade

I'm doing the window fully down upgrade. It says in the instructions to remove the existing stops. What will stop the window now? Don't want to risk losing door glass.

I cannot answer your question other than the instructions do say to remove the limit stops. This modification has done by many owners, and apparently successfully. As the instructions state, they are not needed.
