So, I am working on a mid year 1972 Pantera. It has the nice slim chrome bumpers. The wiring diagrams reference L, pre-L, late-L, etc. What is the correct series for this one?
Pre-L - small chrome bumperettes and 2-pod dash. L models - rubber bumpers up front and a single bumper across the entire rear, and most have single pod dashboards.
Depending on when in 1972 your car was manufactured, you may have some characteristics of both the pre-L and the L model - some pre-L cars have single pod dashes and some rubber bumper cars have 2-pod dashes.
