Hi all. New member here. I'm looking for front end sheet metal parts to fix my 74 Pantera I inherited from my father who passed this year. I think I need the front valence, fenders, headlight bucket and maybe a door skin. As you can see in the pics, he got in an accident almost a decade ago and the car just sat. I got it running great but needs the body work.

While Hall, Wilkerson and others list parts they seem to not stock them? PIM are unfriendly to say the least.  Anyone know a good source for the front end stuff? Here's some pics to give an idea of what I need. Thanks so much!

If it was me and I just finished my 72 in white after 4 years i would find a good frame shop as it looks racked but pictures can be misleading. Save and work the pass fender, valance get a repro they are out there. drivers door work on it and repair and I think the drivers fender try and locate one. You can do it and there is plenty of help out there but start at the basics a frame shop

You have a nice set of tools, so probably don’t need me to suggest, but might be a good idea to start careful is assembling, to look for other hidden damage.

It’s surprising how good the hood looks, and the front grill frame & mesh is probably easily repaired.

But you might find associated damage to the sway bar, and the light bar assembly.  Your front driver side suspension arms might be tweaked.

Anyway…. Best of luck with the repair…

PS.  Good time to convert to small format front bumpers, too!

Yeah that was the basic plan. I have a shop down here in San Diego that will be doing the work, it was more just sourcing the fender and front valence. It seems the damages didn't go to the radiator and box is square so should be good. It will be checked before everything.

Thanks. Yeah I can disassembly easily. I have a new rack for it also. The car drives but the fender is hitting the wheel at less than lock.

I'm torn with the small bumpers. I spoke with the president of the la pantera club who has talked at length about that and the design with the original designer for pinafarina. He said absolutely don't back date because the front 74 bumper is a functional aero element that makes a big difference at speed. Fun fact. 🤷‍♂️

I actually like the look of my L bumper, but replaced it with a fiberglass replacement.  The original rubber ones can get pretty wiggly.

If you get a fiberglass bumper, check the fit before prep, paint & install.  There are some floating around that are short across the car.

Amerisport also has nice bumper caps for the corners…
