Yokohama 285/40/15 now available!!!!

Glad I noticed your post, upon seeing it I called Roger Brotton and booked tyres for my GT5S, I think i secured the last two available!! The club are trying to get more than the original 30 tyres allocated to them but as for now I believe they are all sold

Can you help me to get front tires for my GT5? If possiable I would like 4 tires. Thanks Jim Rudan ( 262-878-4440 daytime or 262-514-4442 evening )

You are located in US so I am not sure how you can get tyres. what I know is that Yokohama has run a batch of 1000 285 tyres and the DeTomaso Uk Club have secured 30 tyres, all of them now sold to members. They will be delivered from Germany and Roger Brotton has heard that most of the tyres are destined for the US, we are trying to get more than the 30 allocated. I will try and get more info and let you know.

The tires cannot be destined for the US, as they do not have the DOT stamp required to be sold in the US. No US-dealer may legally sell them. I'm still trying to locate where the 1,000 physically are. I'm sure that we can work something out to have them shipped to the US through Roger, the UK club, or SOMEONE... We need to find them first!

Roger is trying to find where they are and I am asking everyone I know... I'll let everyone know when I find them, and if anyone sees them, please let us know!!

As I understand the tires are not made yet and they will only be made against firm orders (minimum 1000). I have ordered 20 tires. I will preliminary get them by the end of the year.
None are sold, if there is any interest please let me know. If so I will handle it so I do not need to pay the 25% Swedish sales tax, for tires on export.
