Why would you need to machine up stub shafts? Aren't they readily available as are a nice upgrade of CV axles to mate directly to those ZF stubs.

Either way there have been a number of scam ZF's for sale online, so before parting with money invest the time and effort to get someone local to put eyes on what you are buying.

Hello Rene, For your information, the "le bon coin" site is not a very professional site. You can buy a parrot cage there or something else ...... so beware. I am in Belgium, near the French border and I have been in motor racing for 45 years. if you are really interested in this gearbox, I could possibly find out about this seller via friends in France. I have been the victim of scams in this type of advertisement before and it is very unpleasant.

( sorry for my english, french is my maternal language)

Have a nice day

Francis

Bonjour Francis,

Hello Francis,

My English is much worse than yours.

Being French I know the Leboncoin site very well, what we are entitled to expect and the mistrust that we must show.

I'm not looking for a gearbox at all, I just saw this ad, I thought it might interest a European forum member but I made it clear that I didn't know anything about this box.

Just for the record, I bought my Pantera just three years ago from Patrick Halls whom you must certainly know being a Belgian rider himself.

Hello René, Yes of course I know Patrick Hals, I had some contact with him last year, but no more.

In fact, I have had my detomaso since 2001 and at this time I had rebuilt a new engine, revised the gearbox, the brakes, ect. After 19 years of waiting, I finally received the finished bodywork ....... so currently I am reassembling my car with all the worries that 19 years of waiting can produce (for example: loss of oil at crankshaft seals of engine), loss of parts, ect. Finally, in a little while I will see the end of the tunnel

Have nice day

Francis
