I have recently bought a Pantera in pieces and the zf transaxle has the wrong type of output shalf in it. Could anyone point me in the right direction to locate the correct one's

Output shaft? Are you talking about the input shaft on the front of the ZF the has spines for the clutch plate and also has a nose that matches the pilot bearing in your engine crank shaft? Does the bellhousing have one large inspection hole or two?

Thanks for the PM, I understand now. Your stub axels on the ZF must have the wrong type of flanges on them to connect to the Pantera ½ shafts. I would recommend that you contact Dennis at Pantera Performance in CO to make sure your ZF is correct for the Pantera, e.g. gears and runs the correct side up. He has a kit that he sells to put CV joints on ZFs and he might have a spare set of stub axels.
