86.......If you are going to polish the ZF I would suggest that you send out the bellhousing and the mounts to a polishing shop, then go and get eastwood's intake manifold polishing kit. As it is a great place to start. I also used a 2 inch orbital air sander from Chicago Pneumatic. The CP unit was very effective in smoothing the case and also lets you get into alot but not all of the corners. Remember, this is a slow process, going from 120 grit to 400 and 600 grit paper. I also took a knife to a couple of those plastic body work bondo spreaders and cut them down to size to get between the ZF's ribs, wrapped sand paper around them and sanded till my fingers hurt. You get to do all of this before you actually get to start buffing the aluminum to a shine. And the buffing is a multi step process just like the sanding was. It takes alot of hours and it is a VERY dirty job. I mean dirty as in Hat, safety glasses, face mask, the oldest cloths you own and rubber gloves. Good luck............Doug.H
